More information on this Design
Suminagashi means “floating ink”, it is the ancient art of Japanese paper marbling. These intricate patterns are first born on the surface of the water with ink and brushes and then transferred onto a piece of paper. No two pieces would ever be identical, so each texture truly is one of a kind. What I present to you today is a collection of
high res scans of marbled papers I’ve created using this technique.
This pack includes
65 JPG images with different marbled backgrounds that would be perfect for anything from a website or a banner to any kind of paper stationery, posters, postcards, notebooks, business cards, invitations, etc. I’ve also designed a few scarves, iPhone cases, and a couple of clutches using the same marble patterns. So it’s really up to you how to use them, they would look great on anything you can think of. The possibilities are endless!
You will receive
65 textures and a handy
PDF guide.
The sizes of the textures vary from
5500x3800 pixels to
6500x4600.
Most of them are
6000x4000 pixels.
All the images are high res
JPG files at 300DPI.
Thank you! Have fun designing!
